The Spires & Steeples Challenge is a charity run/walk following public footpaths and bridleways. Participants will be able to see beautiful artworks and church architecture along the way as well as taking in a variety of Lincolnshire villages and countryside.

Spires & Steeples Challenge 26: The trail follows the Spires & Steeples arts and heritage route from Lincoln Castle to the Hub in Sleaford covering 26 miles.

Spires & Steeples Challenge 13: This year we have a half route of 13 miles starting at the Metheringham Playing Fields and finishing at the Hub in Sleaford. Participants who have taken part in past years will now be able to complete the second half of the trail and join in the fun of the main finish point at Sleaford.

The route will be comprehensively way marked and we are organising food and refreshments to be available at the 5 checkpoints along the way and organising activities at a bigger and better finish line. Last year the weather was perfect so we're keeping our fingers crossed that it will be the same this year!

ENTRY FEE: £10 ENTRY ON THE DAY: £12

Transport to the start: If you wish to leave your car at the finish in Sleaford, we can arrange for a bus to pick you up in Sleaford and take you to either the Lincoln or Metheringham start. This means your car is available at the finish. There will be a cost of £4 per person for the bus.
